Maui Wedding & Couples Photographer | Candid Photos + Cinematic Highlight Reels

Maui Photographer for Weddings, Elopements & Couples — Candid Photos + Cinematic Highlight Reels

intro-image

Your Maui wedding deserves more than photos sitting in a folder.

My clients leave with images they print, frame, and share — plus a short cinematic highlight reel that actually captures how the day felt.

I'm Mark. I've lived on Maui since I was 7 years old. My wife Joanna and I have built our life and family here — she's a retired Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant with 25 years of island roots. When you book with me, you're not getting a photographer who flew in for the weekend. You're getting someone who knows this island deeply — the quiet beaches, the best light windows, and how to make your wedding day feel completely natural and unhurried.

I believe marriage is sacred. A covenant made before God and the people you love most. I bring that same reverence to every wedding I photograph.

Over 90% of what I deliver is completely candid. No stiff posing. No performance. Just you, your person, and Maui — exactly as it felt.

Every wedding and session includes:

Professionally edited photos delivered within 2 to 4 weeks

Local expertise on timing, light, and location across Wailea, Kihei, Makena, Lahaina, and Kapalua

Optional cinematic highlight reel — a 15 to 90 second short film set to trending audio, ready to share on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

One photographer. No large crew. No stress. Just real Maui moments.

Maui weddings — Maui elopements — Maui engagement sessions — Maui couples photography — Maui proposals — Maui family photography

How it works:

Send your inquiry and tell me about your day

I handle location, timing, and all the details

You receive your photos and reel — ready to print, share, and keep forever

Maui wedding dates fill fast, especially peak season. If you're planning a wedding or elopement, check availability now before your date is gone.

Mahalo,

Mark

Lan and Chad's Wedding Film

Creating Lasting Memories: Chad and Lan's Wedding Elopement Video at Kapalua Ironwoods Beach and Honolua Forest Maui Imagine the sound of gentle waves lapping at the shore, the whisper of the island breeze, and the warm tropical sun rising in the horizon. This was the perfect backdrop for Chad and Lan's stunning elopement at Kapalua Ironwoods Beach, Maui. Our Californian lovebirds, whose love story began on this very beach, decided to tie the knot in the place where they got engaged and we were privileged enough to capture their beautiful journey.

Testimonials / Kind Words

Mark was absolutely amazing! He took the time before our event to find out more about us and what we wanted to achieve. During our wedding, he captured all the amazing moments (I cried just watching the sneak peek) from us, the couple, to our guests and all the details. Mark is super kind and sweet! Mark went above and beyond for us and we are so honored to have worked with him. I highly recommend Mark!! And we can’t wait to work with him again in the future!

Mark is not only professional, but it's clear that he truly cares about every person he works with. We hadn't planned on getting a photographer for our vow renewal and only gave him a couple days notice while on vacation in Maui and Mark was kind enough to work with us on such short notice. He was so easy to work with and poses you in a way that just works so well for the photos. Mark also chose an amazing location as well. If you're looking for someone to take your photos for any occasion, I would highly recommend him! Next time we are in Maui and need photos, he will definitely be the photographer we choose!
